Sky Recall 90000 Sky + HD Boxes, And Offer Customers 3 Months Free

90,000 Sky + HD boxes are going to have to be replaced over the next 3 months due to an assembly flaw, but it’s not all bad news for Sky + HD customers. The manufactures of the units Pace discovered the floor that will affect 1 in 10 of HD customers. The 90,000 boxes that Pace say are affected fall under the model numbers 9F9001, 9F3002, 9F303 and 9F304. Shy has said that the boxes do not pose any health and safety issues to their customers, and that it is nothing to do with faulty components such as the hard drive. In fact the problem lye’s in the internal cabling and the connections inside the Sky + HD box. According to Sky it should take 3 months for the recall to complete, and for all customers to get a replacement. Sky have also emphasised the point that the boxes are perfectly safe to use and will not have a problem operating. The great news for the Sky + HD customers is that they will be receiving three months of free subscription to the Sky + HD service.
